RESOLUTION NO. 18-9550
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO MAKE ALL NECESSARY ROAD REPAIRS
TO NORTHWEST THIRTY-EIGHTH AVENUE (NW 38th
AVENUE) FROM NORTHWEST ONE TWENTY-FIRST
STREET (NW 121ST STREET) TO NORTHWEST ONE
THIRTY-SECOND STREET (NW 132ND STREET) AND
NORTHWEST ONE FORTY-SEVENTH STREET (NW 147th
STREET) FROM NORTHWEST TWENTY-SEVENTH
AVENUE (NW 27TH AVENUE) TO NORTHWEST TWENTY
SECOND AVENUE (NW 22ND AVENUE) IN THE CITY OF
OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, many streets in the City of Opa-locka ("City") contain potholes and
difficult driving conditions;and
WHEREAS, NW 38th Avenue from NW 121st Street to NW 132nd Street and NW
147th Street from NW 27th Avenue to NW 22nd Avenue have been identified as areas in need
of immediate repair; and
WHEREAS, the City of Opa-locka desires that NW 38th Avenue from NW 121st
Street to NW 132nd Street and NW 147th Street from NW 27th Avenue to NW 22nd Avenue
be repaired as soon as possible.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. RECITALS ADOPTED.
The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2.AUTHORIZATION
The City Commission hereby directs the City Manager to make all necessary repairs to the
NW 38th Avenue from NW 121" Street to NW 132nd Street and NW 147th Street from NW
27th Avenue to NW 22'd Avenue.
Section 3. SCRIVENER'S ERRORS.
Sections of this Resolution may be renumbered or re-lettered and corrections of
typographical errors which do not affect the intent may be authorized by the City Manager,
or the City Manager's designee, without need of public hearing, by filing a corrected copy
of same with the City Clerk.

Section 4. EFFECTIVE DATE.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption and is subject to the approval
of the Governor or his designee.
