Subject: Florida Power and Light (FPL) Community Meeting to Present and Discuss
the Details of the FPL Power Grid Masterplan within the Gated Residential
Community
The purpose of this Letter to Council (LTC) is to invite and provide you with information
regarding the upcoming Community Meeting to be conducted by representatives of
Florida Power and Light (FPL). The meeting will be held to provide information to the
Residential Gated Community property owners regarding a masterplan developed by FPL
to upgrade and replace the infrastructural power grid within the Residential Gated
Community. The meeting is scheduled for Monday July 12, 2021 at the Seaview Hotel
9909 Collins Avenue from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. During the meeting, the proposed
Power Grid Masterplan will be presented along with a discussion regarding the next steps
required to continue the planning activities for this project. Participants will be
encouraged to pose questions and collaborate with the FPL representatives to finalize the
details of the planned work.
This meeting will be publicly noticed and you are invited to attend. Targeted Notification
to our Gated Community Residents will be transmitted via the Village Website, notice
signage, WENS and E Mail Blast systems.
