Subject: Bal Harbour Police Department Bicycle Rodeo Event
Mayor Gabriel Groisman and Members of the Village Council
The purpose of this Letter to Council is to inform you that the Bal Harbour Police Department
will be hosting the Bicycle Rodeo event on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 9 am to 12:30 pm
in North Municipal Parking Lot (10200 Collins Avenue Bal Harbour, Florida 33154).
The Bal Harbour Police Department has coordinated this event to engage children of all
ages in our community and highlight the importance of bicycle safety. A bicycle safety
course has been designed to teach rules of the road. Participants are invited for a short ride
with the Chief of Police along the hard pack. In addition, free bicycle inspections will be
provided by City Bikes (Aventura), and participants will be able to enjoy refreshments,
giveaways and raffles. A copy of the flyer for the event is attached for your information.
