CALL TO ORDER /AGENDA CHANGES :
Superintendent Tom Conrad called meeting to order at 530pm
In attendance : Ron Collins, Tom Conrad , Jody Craven, Chris Easley, Michael Embury, Tom Faris,
Russ French , Greg Levasseur, Bob Lewis, Ed MacDonald , Tony Nanini, Jim Nowack, John O' Reilly,
Lisa Orlandella, Harry Terkanian , Kathleen Tringale, Giovanna Venditti
Committee members introduced themselves
Moved selection of chair to last item of evening

None
III PRIORITY BUSINESS
Superintendent Conrad distributed a copy of the Statement of Interest certification . ( SOI )
He indicated that the challenge from the MSBA is what will be the needs of the 2050 graduate
Moving forward, all materials, modules, will be on the website as well as iPad uploads for
everyone .
Tour of the Building :
Tom led members on a brief tour of the high school . Members were encouraged to come back
for a more extensive tour, call Wendy to arrange a time
Charge to the Nauset Regional High School Building Committee
Committee members were given a copy of the charge to the building committee as voted by
the Nauset Regional School Committee . A few questions were raised and it was determined
that this topic will be on the next agenda .
Superintendent Conrad and Jim Nowack, Assistant Director of Finance and Operations, updated
the committee on where the District is in the MSBA process and reviewed some of the
information that was submitted . Enrollment was discussed . After an extensive review, the
MSBA determined that this project would be for an enrollment of 905 students .
The Superintendent and the Director of Finance and Operations, Giovanna Venditti, will meet
with the MSBA on February 14th, at which time the MSBA will vote the District into the next
phase, Feasibility Study
The Superintendent indicated that Wendy Spampinato will be taking minutes to the meetings
and any questions the committee may have can be forwarded to her .
Elect Chair
Greg Levasseur nominated for chair by Bob Lewis, Ed MacDonald second the motion .
Board voted unanimously to elect Greg .

The Superintendent thanked everyone for volunteering their services to the building
committee .
