No significant issues reported. Beach Safety Officer was on vacation. 0 9 /1 0 /2 0 2 1 A O A M i am i D ad e Fi r e Rescu e 1 0 1 8 5 Co l l i n s A v en u e Bal Harbour officers were dispatched to the Plaza Condominium regarding a female in labor. Upon arriving at the apartment, officers discovered the female had just delivered her baby with the assistance of relatives. The officer assessed the baby for any obstructions prior to the arrival of fire rescue. Miami- Dade Fire Rescue transported mom and the baby to a local hospital. 0 9 /1 1 /2 0 2 1 Th e f t 1 0 2 0 1 Co l l i n s A v e n u e The reporter told officers he left personal belongings on his lounge chair while in the pool. Upon his return to the lounge chair, his belongings were missing. A thorough search of the area was conducted , however, did not yield any results. This case has been forwarded to the Criminal Investigati ons Division for follow-up. 0 9 /1 1 /2 0 2 1 D i st u r b an ce 1 0 2 7 5 Co l l i n s A v e n u e 0 9 /1 3 /2 0 2 1 A r r e st 2 6 5 Bal Bay D r i v e Officers were summoned to the residence regarding a possible domestic disturbance. Upon arrival,the complainant told the officers her husband was intoxicated and begin making threats to harm her. Officers located the husband who appeared to be intoxicated and would not comply with the officers’ instructions. The husband began resisting and was arrested and transported to jail. 0 9 /1 5 /2 0 2 1 Th ef t 9 9 0 9 C o l l i n s A v e n u e Bal Harbour officers were summoned to the Sea View Hotel regarding missing lounge chair cushions. A review of the surveillance cameras revealed a male entering the property from the rear and removing the cushions. A description of the male was broadcasted to the local municipalities. A few hours later, Bal Harbour officers located a male matching the description. The individual was identified and photographed. The male’s information was provided to the Criminal Investigations Division as a potential suspect in the theft. 0 9 /1 6 /2 0 2 1 Yo m K i p p e r H o l i d ay C i t y W i d e Patrol units focused on conducting High Visibility Patrols throughout the village. In addition, officers conducted Crosswalk Details in the high pedestrian traffic areas. 0 9 /1 6 /2 0 2 1 A ssi st Ci t i ze n 9 7 0 0 Bl o ck Co l l i n s A v e n u e Bal Harbour Police received a call of a naked female walking along Collins Avenue. Officers made contact with the individual and immediately requested Miami- Dade Fire Rescue to assess her condition. The female advised she was in South Beach with some friends who stole her clothing. Officers obtained clothing for the female and requested Miami Beach Police to respond and document and investigate the incident. 0 9 /1 6 /2 0 2 1 Tr af f i c Cr ash 1 0 2 9 5 Co l l i n s A v e n u e A motorist operating his vehicle north on Frontage Road was focused on his GPS and didn’t realize he was approaching a dead end. The motorist eventually crashed into the Haulover Inlet Seawall. The driver was not injured; however, the passenger sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Photographs of the vehicle and seawall were taken. Public Works responded and inspected the seawall for structural damage.
