ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, RELINQUISHING PORTIONS OF
CERTAIN EASEMENTS FOR SANITARY SEWER PURPOSES IN CONJUNCTION WITH
STONERIDGE VILLAGE SUBDIVISION, SECTION ONE, LOCATED AT MISSOURI
BOULEVARD AND SOUTH TEN MILE DRIVE
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council finds that the following described easements are surplus property
of the City and are no longer needed for any public purpose:
Easement Description 1 A: Part of the Sanitary Sewer Easements Described in Book 367, Pages
626 and 627 A strip of land, 15 feet wide, across part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 10,
Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson, Missouri, being part of the Sanitary
Sewer Easements of record in Book 367, pages 626 and 627, Cole County Recorder's Office, the
centerline of said strip of land being more particularly described as follows: From the southeast
corner of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 10; thence N0 036'04"E, along the Section Line,
150.10 feet to the point of beginning for this centerline description; thence S78°10'46"W, 190.20
feet; thence N89 006'56"W, 305.73 feet; thence N45 053'26"W, 161.37 feet; thence N68 000'39"W,
232.20 feet; thence S83 033'44"W, 77.22 feet to a point intersecting the centerline of an existing
• sanitary sewer known as Line "A" of Private Sewer No. 462 at plan station 10+63.92 and the point
of termination of this centerline description. Bearings are based on the easements of record in Book
367, pages 626 and 627, Cole County Recorder's Office;
ALSO;
Easement Description 2A:A Sanitary Sewer Easement Described in Book 367, Page 634. A strip
of land, 15 feet wide, across part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 11,
Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson, Cole County, Missouri,the centerline
of said 15 foot strip being more particularly described as follows: From the southwest corner of the
Northwest Quarter of said Section 11; thence N0 036'04"E, along the Section Line, 150.10 feet to
the point of beginning for the centerline of this easement; thence N78 010'46"E, 102.78 feet to the
existing Manhole No. 7 at Station 15+04.27 Private Sewer No. 402 and the point of termination of
this easement. Bearings are based on the easement of record in Book 367, page 634, Cole County
Recorder's Office;
ALSO;
Easement Description 3A: Part of a Sanitary Sewer Easement Shown on and Dedicated by Wal-
mart Supercenter Development Plat of Record in Plat Book 11, Page 437. A strip of land, 10 feet
wide, across part of Tract 1-B of a survey of record in Survey Record Book A, page 252, Cole
County Recorder's Office,being the west part of Tract 1 of Wal-Mart Supercenter Development,per
plat of record in Plat Book 11, page 437, Cole County Recorder's Office and being situated in the
Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 11, Township 44 North, Range 12 West,
• in the City of Jefferson, Cole County, Missouri, the centerline of said 10 foot wide strip being more
particularly described as follows: From the southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of said
Section 11; thence N5 036'53"W, along the Section Line, 174.68 feet to the center of a certain 10
foot wide sanitary sewer easement as shown on the aforesaid Wal-Mart Supercenter Development
plat and the point of beginning for this centerline description; thence N85 000'35"E, along the
centerline of said 10 foot wide sanitary sewer easement, 395.07 feet to a point intersecting the east
boundary of Tract 1-B of the aforesaid survey of record in Survey Record Book A, page 252 and
• the point of termination. Bearings based on the plat of record in Plat Book 11, page 437, Cole
County Recorder's Office.
Section 2. The easement described in Section 1 is hereby relinquished, and the City does
hereby release and abandon whatever interest it has in the easement.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute any necessary legal
document relinquishing all of the City's interest in the tract of ground described in Section 1.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage and approval.
