TWN OF GUIF STREAM, FLORIDA
MINUTES OF TOWN COMMISSION, APRIL END, 1930.
A regular meeting of the Town Commission of the Town of
Gulf Stream, Florida, was held at the Town Hall of said Town on
the End day of April, A. D. 1930.
Commissioners DeParlier, Adams and Hoss were present.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
It was called to the atteiition of the Town Commission that
the 1930 tax roll had been re- delivered to the Towr_ Tax Assessor,
immediately after the regular meeting held on March 5th, 1930, and
that the Tovm Tax Assessor had calculated and levied the necessary
ta::es against the property shown on the 1930 tax roll and had filed
said 1930 tax roll with the Town Commission and asked that the same
be carefully examined and approved. The Town Commission immediately
examined and carefully checked the figures as shown on the 1930 tax
roll and found the same to be correct.
The following resolution was offered for adoption, to -wit;
"Be it resolved by the Town Commission that the 1930 tax roll of the
Town of Gulf Stream, as finally compiled and prepared by the Tax
Assessor, and as filed by him with the Town Commission, be, and the
same is hereby ratified and adopted as the 1930 tax roll of the Town
of Gulf Strer:m, and that the two additional copies of said tax roll
are hereby ratified and approved.
"Be it further resolved that the amount of taxes set down
in such roll, opposite of each name on partial of land, therein des-
Bribed, is hereby ratified, approved and adopted.
"Be it further resolved that said tax roll with the
tax assessments and warrants adopted be delivered to the Tax
Collector of the Town of Gulf Stream on or before the 1st day of
November, A. D. 1930, with instructions for the said Tax Collector
to proceed to collect said taxes as shovn on tax roll, according to
law ".
"Be it further resolved that the following warrant as
required by Section 49 of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of
Gulf Stream, be attached to the 1930 Tax Roll by the Tax Assessor
in the following form to -wit:
"The Town of Gulf Stream,
To ............................... Tai: Collector of said Tovu
You are hereby commanded to collect out of the real estate,
and from each of the persons and corporations named in the assessment
roll, the taxes set down in such roll opposite each name, or par-
cel of land therein described, and in case the taxes so imposed are
not paid by the time urescribed by ordinance, you are to collect
the saa:e by levy and sale of the lands and tenements, so assessed,
or of the person or corporation so taxed; and all sums collected
you are to pay into the Town treasury as prescribed by ordinance;
and you are further required to make all collections on or before
the first day of A )ril; and on or before the first Monday in July
you will make a final report to, and settlement with, the Town
Commission.

Upon motion duly made and seconded the above and foregoing
resolutions viere unanimously adopted.
There being no further business to come before the Commissim
the meeting was regularly adjour.:ed.
