Beach Safety Officer:
The BSO assisted road patrol units canvass the area for a suspect who allegedly committed a
battery on a transit bus driver. That area canvass was met with negative results and the
investigation is ongoing.
On Saturday and Sunday, the jetty was closed for safety due to strong winds and water crashing
onto and over the jetty.
This weekend, the BSO encountered 3 dogs on the beach and two separate individuals walking
their dogs on the jogging path, additionally, the BSO conducted parking enforcement at the
North Municipal Parking lot and monitored the Ritz Carlton Beach area for cleanliness. The area
