The regular meeting of the Town Commission of the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, was held at the Town Hall of said Town on the 1st day of October, A. D. 1930. app rov ed. Commissioners DeParlier, Adams and Hoss were present. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and Tax Collector Hoss reported that the Tax Roll had been duly and regularly delivered to his office with proper warrant for the collection of the 1930 taxes, and that he had prepared proper tax notices shoadng the amount of the 1930 taxes due against each parcel of property in the Town of Gulf Stream. That he was pre- pared to mail these notices to the various propery owners and would open the lax Books on T:ovember 1st, to collect said taxes. Mr. Hoss reported further that it was necessary to purchase a Tax Roll Book and other supplies to be used in the collection of the 1930 taxes, and that these books and supplies had been purchased for the Town by Attorney Byrd. The Commissioners instructed I•:Zr. Hoss to get from Attorney Byrd statements relative to the costs of supplies and Tax Roll Book and submit them at the regular meeting in November for approval and payment. Mr. Hoss called to the attention ofthe Commission that it would be necessary for himto file a bond with the Town Commission as Tax Collector and Tax Treasurer. 11r. Hoss was instructed to have Attorney Byrd secure the necessary bond in the amount of Two Thousand ($2,000.00) Dollars, to cover monies received by Lr. Hoss for the collection of the 1930 taxes.
