I `'!/l I v AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, RELINQUISHING PORTIONS OF A CERTAIN EASEMENT FOR SANITARY SEWER PURPOSES IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE TRAILS OF KAUFFMAN HILLS SUBDIVISION, SECTION THREE, LOCATED AT SHERWOOD DRIVE AND GRAYSTONE DRIVE BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Council finds that the following described easement is surplus property of the City and is no longer needed for any public purpose: Part of the Sanitary Sewer Easement described in Book 281, Page 753. Part of an existing ten (10) foot wide sanitary sewer easement as recorded in Book 281, page 753, Cole County Recorder's Office, across part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 9, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the City of Jefferson, Cole County, Missouri,the centerline of said portion of Sanitary Sewer Easement to be vacated more particularly described as follows: From the Southwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 9, Township 44 North, Range 12 West; thence N83 050'11"E, along the Section Line, 428.67 feet; thence leaving the Section Line, N14 022'55"W, 26.71 feet to the center of proposed Manhole at Station 37+65.94 Main Branch Wears Creek Interceptor Line B and the POINT OF BEGINNING for this description; thence continuing N14 022'55"W, 250.94 feet to the • center of an existing manhole at Station 40+24.41 Main Branch Wears Creek Interceptor Line B; thence N45 049'27"W, 362.18 feet to the center of an existing Manhole at Station 43+87.48 Main Branch Wears Creek Interceptor Line B and the POINT OF TERMINATION for this center line description. Section 2. The easement described in Section 1 is hereby relinquished, and the City does hereby release and abandon whatever interest it has in the easement. Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute any necessary legal document relinquishing all of the City's interest in the tract of ground described in Section 1. Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage and approval.
