A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
AN AGREEMENT WITH CLEARVIEW MEDIA, INC., FOR NEW BUS SHELTERS,
ADVERTISEMENT REVENUE, AND MAINTENANCE
WHEREAS, On September 7, 2010, the City Council authorized staff to issue a
Request for Proposal (RFP) for new bus shelters, advertisement, and maintenance; and
WHEREAS, On September 16, 2010, staff advertised the project in the
Lynwood Wave Press; and
WHEREAS, On October 5, 2010, staff received two proposals in response to the
RFP and are as follows:
Contractor Proposed Revenue to Citv
Clearview Media lnc. $97,500
Creative Outdoor Advertising of America $78,000
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council approve a revenue agreement with Clearview
Media lnc. The city is to receive $97,500 in new annual revenues for the right to
advertise on the bus shelters. Clearview Media lnc is also responsible for the
maintenance and graffiti removal of the bus shelters.
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute the Agreement between
the City of Lynwood and Clearview Media lnc., in a form approved by the City Attorney.
Section 3. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7 day of December, 2010.
