MINUTES OF TOWN COMISSION
METING NOVEMBER 5, 193D
The regular meeting of the Town Commission
of the Tom of Gulf Stream, Flbrida, was held at the Town
Hall of said Tom on the 5th day of November, A. D. 1930.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and
Tax Collector Hoss reported that he had mailed
out tax notices and that certain of the tax payers were begin -
nirg to pay their taxes. Tax Collector Hose also reported that
there were now outstanding two Torn Warrants in the sum of Five
Hundred Fifty ($550.00) Dollars each. One of said Warrants was
held by the Palm Beach Company and the other by the Gulf Stream
Golf Club, both oamers and holders of said '.larrants being prop-
erty owners and tax payers of the Town of Gulf Stream.
It ivas moved, seconded and carried that Tax Col-
lector Hoss be authorized to accept said Town Warrants in payment
of Town taxes due the Town of Gulf Stream from the Palm Beach Company
and the Gulf Stream Golf Club.
On motion duly made, seconded and carried, Tax
Collector Hoss was authorized to pay the Gulf Stream Golf Club
the difference between the amount of taxes credited on the
Tovm Warrant, held by the Gulf Stream Golf Club, and the face
value of the Town Warrant held by said Club.
The follovdng bills were submitted to the Tovai
Commission for consideration, and approved, said bills being
as follows:
Delray Beach News $22.50
C. Y. Byrd, preparing tax rolls
and other tax matters 25.00
Brennan & Plastridge, surety bond, 20.00
Check to Palm Beach Company for 579.56
covering face value, together with
accrued interest of Town Warrant
held by Palm Beach Co. Viarrant being
for y550., interest being X29.56.
As stated above, the foregoing bills were regularly
examined, approved, and the Mayor and Treasurer were authorized
to issue checks in payment of said bills.
Town Clerk Hose stated that a surety bord in the
sum of Two Thousand ($2,000.00) Dollars had been issued and was
on file with the Books and Records of the Town in the sum of
,$2000., bonding the Town Clerk, Town Tax Collector and Toval
Treasurer for the faithful performance of his duties.
There being no further business to come before
the Commission it was regularly adjourned.
