HomeMy Public PortalAbout2023-28 Resolution Townline Road ImprovementsResolution No. 2023-28 March 7, 2023 Member DesLauriers introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 2023-28 RESOLUTION RECEIVING AND APPROVING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT AND JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT AND ORDERING THE TOWNLINE ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, a feasibility report has been prepared by Steve Scherer as the city’s Public Works Director regarding a street improvement project for Townline Road South; and WHEREAS, city staff has prepared plans and specifications for the mill and overlay for the Townline Road South Improvement Project and has presented such plans and specifications to the council for approval; and WHEREAS, the project consists of reclamation and paving, described in the report; and WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the project is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the city council of the city of Medina, as follows: 1. The feasibility report is hereby accepted, and the project is determined to be necessary, cost-effective, and feasible. 2. The plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby adopted. 3. The project shall be constructed using competitive bids received by the City of Medina. 4. The improvement is hereby ordered as proposed. Date: March 7, 2023.
