CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2006-76
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING 2006 GENERAL ELECTION
ABSENTEE BALLOT BOARD
WHEREAS, the city anticipates a large number of absentee ballots for the November 7,
2006 General Election; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 203B.13 allows for the establishment of an absentee ballot
board to process and examine absentee return envelopes prior to Election Day; and
WHEREAS, Dustin Finke, Jodi Wunsch, Pat Velch and Rose Dykhoff have expressed
interest in serving on the absentee ballot board;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina that
an absentee ballot board of the abovementioned individuals be established for the 2006 General
Election;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that those election judges whom serve on the absentee
ballot board be paid as temporary employees a wage of $10.00 per hour with no benefits.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Weir
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Weir, Workman, Cavanaugh, Smith
And the following voted against same: (Absent: Brinkman)
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
