CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2006-85
RESOLUTION RELATING TO TAX FORFEITED LAND
WHEREAS, the North 33 feet of Southeast '/ of Northeast '/ of Section 14 Township 118
Range 23 = Unplatted 14-118-23, Property Identification Number 14-118-23-14-0012, Located in
City of Medina; and
WHEREAS, the City of Medina acquired the property in 2000 for the approved public use
of a public trail; and
WHEREAS, the City of Medina has not been used as a public trail; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to use this property as a public trail.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina:
1. To authorize the Mayor and the City Administrator -Clerk to make application to the
State of Minnesota and the County Commissioners of Hennepin County for
conveyance of this parcel for the public purpose of a public trail.
2. To submit a certified copy of this resolution to the Hennepin County Board of
Commissioners in accordance with Minnesota Statute Section 282.01.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Weir upon vote
being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Brinkman, Weir, Workman, Smith
and the following voted against: (Absent: Cavanaugh)
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
