A rugular meeting of the Town Commission of the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, was held on the 6th day of August A. D. 1933. Commissioners Hose, Adams and DeParlier were present. The minutes of the previops meeting were read and adopted. Commissioner DeParlier, who is Superintendent of the Gulf Stream Golf Club, stated that the War Department was planning to widen and deepen the Intracoastal Canal, which runs through the property of the said Club, and that it would be necessary for the Club to lower their Water Main running under said Canal. He further stated that the Club had applidd to the War Department for necessary permit to lower same and had been advised that the Town Commission must waive objections, if any, before permit could be granted. Commissioner introduced the following resolution : - RESOLUTION NO. 27 "Whereas, the Gulf Stream Golf Club proposes to make application for permission to lower existing water mail, which crosses the Intracoastal Waterway from Jacksonville to Miami, Florida, at the east and west quarter - section line of section 4. 'T. 46 -S, R. 43 -E Palm Beach County, Florida, in view of proposed additional excavation of said waterway, so that the water main will be fifteen (15) feet below mean low tide water at said quarter - section line of said Sec. 4. T. 46 -S., R- 43 -E., Palm Beach County, Florida, within the municipal limits of the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, as shown on drawing in sheet One (1) marked "Proposed Lowering of Water Main in Section 4, T- 46 -S., R. 43 -E., Palm Beach County, Florida, July 27th, 1933 - Carr & McFadden, Ine.,aGent ", and Whereas, said plane have by the Town of Gulfs Stream, and been presented to and considered Whereas, the work contemplated by the said Gulf Stream golf Club will not interfere with any plans for work which the said Town of Gulf Stream have in view. NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Town Council of the Town of Gulf Stream, in legal meeting assembled, that said Town of Gulf Stream waives, and it does hereby waive, all objections to the said proposed construction. Adopted this 27th, day of July, AD - 1933. After some discussion the resolutiom was adopted by unanimous vote, and it was ordered that a copy of this resolution be incorporated in the minutes.
