�•1`dERE.AS, the City Council of the Ci'ty of Lynwood did, on
the 3rd aay of March, 1953 anprove an inveatigation renort under tne
proviaions of Division 4� of the Streets and Highwaye Code, cited as
"Speciai Assessment Inveatigation, Limita,tion and ltiSajorit,y Protest
Act of 1931", as amended, upon the propoaed improvement of portion4 of
Pendleton Avenve fr�m Colyer Avenue to E1m Avenue by the construction I
of cement concrete curbs and gutters, including all incidental and I
a.ppurtenant work, all as shown on Plan IQo i953-B-2 in the ofPice of
the City Clerk of said City; and

a hearing wae held by said.City Council on the 7th day of Apri1,.1953
in tne manner tirovided in said Act above referred to; and

NOYJ, iHF.:REFORE, the City Cov.ncil of tne Ci�y of Lynwood
does hereby resolve as follot�JS:
l. That the proteats made at said hearing on eaid inveati-
gation report be and the aame are nerebc overruled.;
2, That the public intereat, convenience, and neceosity
require the doing and makinb of the public improvement set Porth and
d.escribed in said re�ort aboce referred. to and svbstantially in the
ma.nner set ferth;
3. That the pro�ect consisting'of the proposed.. improvement
above referred to is feasible and that tne lands to be a3aessed will
be �ble to carry tne burden of said proposed a.asesement, and the
limitations on tne amounts of assessmento provided for in tnis part
may be disrega..rded, both orith reapect to tne limitations on the dis-
trict a.s a whole and as to t'r_e limitation on individual speciiic
assesaments.

upon any or all lote or parce]_s of land Por the coats and expenses of
said proposed. improvement does not exceed the limitation of indebted.—

making of said nroposed improvement be und.ertaken �ursua.nt to the pro—
visions of an Act of the Legislature oP the State oF CaliPornia, des—
ienated as Division � of the Streets and Highways Code, cited as the
"Improvement Aet oP 1911, and am_endmenta thereto".
