President Robinson called the meeting to order and the following business was conducted: ROLL CALL Board members present were: Vicki Robinson, Tony Foster and Dick Foore. Also in attendance were Kim Vessels, Assistant City Attorney; Karen Chasteen City Clerk; Fire Chief Jerry Purcell; Police Major Mark Connery; Police Lt. Donnie Benedict; City Engineer, Greg Steins; and, Media. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Mr. Foster moved to approve the December 30, 2014 minutes, supported by Mr. Foore. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried. CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT Mr. Foore moved to approve the December 26, 2014 claims in the amount of One Hundred Seventy Six Thousand Five Hundred Seventy Six Dollars and two cents ($176,576.02), supported by Mr. Foster. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried. Mr. Foore moved to approve the January 2, 2015 claims in the amount of Three Hundred Thirty Nine Thousand Three Hundred Two Dollars and fifty four cents ($339,302.54), supported by Mr. Foster. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried. REQUESTS • HANDICAP PARKING SIGN — NEW 1106 Crosshall Street — Mr., Foster moved to approve, supported by Mr. Foore. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried. • CONTRACT NO. 4-2015 — ROONEY & COMPANY LLC Provides professional cost report preparation services in connection with 2014 Indiana Medicaid Freestanding Governmental Ambulance Provider Cost Report for the Fire Department Not to Exceed $4,000.00 Mr. Foore moved to approve, supported by Mr. Foster. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried. CHANGE ORDERS ADDENDUMS • CONTRACT NO. 53-2013— ADDENDUM NO.2 — Phil Engle, dba Specialized Mechanical LLC Maintenance of the heating and air conditioning systems for the Fire Department Not to Exceed $3,454.24 Foster moved to approve, supported by Mr. Foore. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried. RESOLUTIONS PETITIONS MISCELLANEOUS • APPOINTMENTS — POLICE RESERVE OFFICERS Quintin Shuler Jeremy Hicks Foster moved to approve, supported by Mr. Foore. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried. • RIGHT OF WAY ACQUISITION — MANOR DRIVE PROJECT — PROJECT NO. 1173174 Parcel No. 6, 6A, 613 — 910 Locust Drive Not to Exceed $90,750.00 — 80% to be paid by Federal Highway 20% to be paid by the City of Richmond Mr. Foore moved to approve, supported by Mr. Foster.
