FEBRUARY 12, 2016
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5:00 P.M., Thursday,
February 12, 2015 in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 50 North a Street, Richmond,
Indiana.
President Robinson called the meeting to order and the following business was conducted:
ROLL CALL
Board members present were: Vicki Robinson, Tony Foster and Dick Foore.
Also in attendance were Kim Vessels, Assistant City Attorney; Karen Chasteen City Clerk; Police Chief
Kris Wolski; Police Lt. Donnie Benedict; Fire Chief Jerry Purcell; City Planner Sarah Mitchell; and, Media.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. Foore moved to approve the February 5, 2015 minutes, supported by Mr. Foster. Upon a vote viva
voce, the motion carried.
CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT
Mr. Foster moved to approve the Claims for Payment with a check date of January 23, 2015 in the
amount of Four Hundred Thirty Seven Thousand Five Hundred Eighty Nine Dollars and forty nine cents
($437,589.49), supported by Mr. Foore. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
Mr. Foore moved to approve the Claims for Payment with a check date of February 6, 2015 in the amount
of Two Hundred Sixty Five Thousand Thirty Two Dollars and seventy seven cents ($265,032.77),
supported by Mr. Foster. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
Mr. Foster moved to approve the Claims for Payment with a check date of February 13, 2015 in the
amount of Two Hundred Fifty One Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Two Dollars and sixteen cents
($251,652.16), supported by Mr. Foore. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.

carried.

• Lt. Benedict announced the first luncheon with Law Enforcement will be at the Tin Lizzie on
March 19, 11 am —1 pm. The topic to be discussed at this time is parking and the issues relative
to Downtown.
