SYSTEM AND APPURTENANT �40RK.
RESULUTION ORDERING TAE WORK AND DIRECTING THE
CITY CLERK TO GIVE NOTICE INVITIVG BIDS.
BE IT RESOLVrD by the Cit,y Council of the Cit,y of Lynwood
as followe:
8ection l: In the opinion of said City Council, the public
interest and convenience require, and said City Council having ac-
quired ,�uriediction so to do, the following work or improvement is
hereby ordered to be done, to-wit:� the construction of an ornamental
street lighting syatem, together with incidental and appurtenant work,
ae more particularly described in Resolution of Intention No z495
8ection 2: All of the work or improvernent aforesaid ehall
be done aa contemplated in Resolution of Intention No 2095 of the
City Council oP eaid Cit,y and to Plan No. 1953-A-3, to which reference
is herebp made for further particulars. '
Section 3: Said proposed work or improvement, in the
opinion of eaid City Council, is of more than local or ordinary public
benePit and said City Council hereby determines and declarea that the
diatrict to be benefited by said orork and improvement, and to be
aesessed to pa,y the;entire coats and expenaes thereof, is pa,rticularly
described in Resolution of Intention No. 2495. Reference is hereby
made to said Reaolution of Intention and to Plan No. 1953-A-4 for
further particulars ae to the extent oi the assesament district.
Section 4: The proceedinge for the aforesaid work and im-
provement ahall be had. a.nd under an Act oi the Legislature of
the State of California designated as the Streets and Highways Code,
Division 7, and cited 2.s the "Improvement Act of 1911°, and amendmenta
thereto.

Section 5: The City Council hereb,y determinea and declares
that aerial bor.de ahall be issued in the form and manner provided in
said aPorementioned Act, bearing interest at the rate of eix (6) per
centum per annum to represent each assessment of'twenty-five (�$25.00)
Dollara or over, rema.ining unpaid for thirty daya a£ter the date of
warrant. Said serial bonde ahall extend over a period. endin� nine
years from the second day o£ January next succeeding the next October
15th follotving their date. Said bonds and interest thereon enall be
paid at the oPfice oP the City Treasurer of said�City and ahall be
diaburaed by him, all as provided in said Act.
Section 6: The City Clerk aha11 post and cause to be pub-
liahed a notice�inviting sealed proposals or bida for doing the above
described work or improvement in the time, form, and manner required .
