S+fHEREAS, the City Council l of the Cit,y of L,yn�d did, on
the 21st day of Anril, 1g53 adopt its Resolution of Intention No.
2498 orderinp; the improvement of portioizs of Pendleton Avenue by
the construction of�cement concrete curbs and gu.tters,to�ether with
incid_ental and apnurtenant ti,�ork, and . .
WL?EREAS, theCity Clerk of said Cit� has heretofore nre-
sented and f?led an affidavi-t of publication of said Resolution of
Intention showing that the same Wa3 published. according to law; and
WHEREAB, said Cit,y Clerk has also nresented and S'iled his
affidavit of mailing notices of tne adoption o£ eaid_ Resolution of
Intention in the time, forrn, and, manner, and to the persons, a11 a.s
provided by an Act of the Legislature of the St�te of California,
designa.ted. as Division 7 of the Streeta and. riighwa,ys Code, and_ cited
as the ��Improvement Act of 19ll", and amendment� thereto, and
WF:EREAB, the Cit,y Eng� of Streets has
heretofore presented and filed_ an affi&a.v.it showin� that notices of '
the passage of eaid Reaolution of Intention have been posted in the
manner nrovid_ed by said Act; and
GJHEREAS, Tuesday, the 19th day of T�4ay, 1953 at the hour of
8 o�clock p.m, at the Council Ch�.mbers in the CitS� Hall, in said City
of Lynwood, vaaa the time and place set in said Reaolution of Intention �
when and �rhere any ob,jections to the proposed worY or improvement, or
` to the extent of the district to be asseesed, or to the gradea to which
- the work �ras proposed to be done, would be heard by said City Couneil,
and

WHEREAS, at said hearin� held on the 19th da.y of May, 1953
no protests were iiled againet any o� the thinhe proposed to be done
under Reaolution of Intention No. 2498.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESULVED by the City Cou.ncil of the
City of Lynwood tha.t the said Cit,y Council has acquired full �uris-
diction to order the proposed work or improvement.
