The City Council of the City oP Lynwood doee hereby
reaolve a.e follows:
(1) That the bublzc interest, convenience, and necessity
require and the Cit,y Council of the CiL,y o° Lyilwood propoae9 to ir_-
etitute proceedinge For the improvement hereinafter set foith.
(2) �hat the general nature, location, and extent of auch
proposec� improvement ia as follows: The construction of an ornamen-
tal etreet lighting syatem on Long Beacn Poulevard from Lynwood Road
to Josephine 8treet.
�3) It is hereb,y cletermined that no part of the coat or
expense of said wor� or im_orovement is to �be paid by aaid City of
Lyn�ao od.
(�) It is riereby £urther determined that the Git,y Council
os the City of Lynwood adopts this resolution under and in accorda?ZCe
with Division 4 of the Streets.and Ai�htva,rs Code of the State oY
California, which is known as the "Special Assessment Investigation,
Limitation and t4ajority Protest Act of 1,931," �s amend.ed. It is here-
b,y further determined tnat sa.id. City Coui�cil propoaes to conduct the
proceedinge for said proposed work or improvemert under an Act of tne
Legialature of the State of CaliFOrnia known and deaignated. ae the
"Improvement Act of 19�1" as amended.
�5) Tne bound.ary or extent of the assessment district to
be a�sessed. to pa.y tne coets and expenses o£ said improvement is �
shown on Plan No. 1953-A-1 on file in the office of the City Clerk of
said City which raap snall govern Por all details as to the extent of
said asseasment diatrict.
