APRIL 16, 2015
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5:00 P.M., Thursday, April
16, 2015, in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 50 North 5'^ Street, Richmond, Indiana.
President Robinson called the meeting to order and the following business was conducted:
ROLL CALL
Board members present were: Vicki Robinson, Tony Foster and Dick Foore.
Also in attendance were Kim Vessels, Assistant City Attorney; Karen Chasteen City Clerk; Police Lt. Donnie
Benedict, Grant administrator Sharon Palmer, Street Superintendent Tracy Bosell; David Mears, Milestone
Contractors; and, Media.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. Foore moved to approve as presented, supported by Mr. Foster. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion
carried.
CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT
Mr. Foster moved to approve the Claims for Payment dated April 17, 2015 in the amount of Three Hundred
and One Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty Four Dollars and fifty two cents ($301,834.52), supported by Mr.
Foore. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
REQUESTS
• STREET CLOSURE
Italian Fest - May 16, 2015 - 6 pm -12 am
Fort Wayne Avenue, Elm Place, North 81h Street from D to E and under the bridge on 9t' Street.
It has also been requested that the sidewalk be blocked from Little Shebas to the Firehouse to
contain walkers.
Mr. Foore moved to approve, supported by Mr. Foster. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
• NOISE VARIANCE

Mr. Foster moved to approve, supported by Mr. Foore. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
• HANDICAP SIGN RENEWAL

Mr. Foore moved to approve, supported by Mr. Foster. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.

Not to exceed $240.00 /property to be paid by the City of Richmond and reimbursed by the

Mr. Foore moved to approve, supported by Mr. Foster. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
