ABATE THE NUI3ANCE OF DRY A?�1D DRYI NG t^lEEDB
THAT EXIBT ON CERTAItIi PARCELS OF LAND IN THE
CITY OF LYIVWOOD.
' Be.it reaolved by the City Council of the Cit,y of Lynwood,
ae follows:
tVHEREAB, the City Council of trie City of Lyni,*ood, California
did, on the 20th day of January i953 adopt Reaolution No. 2479 re-
lating to the abatement oP dry and drying weeds on certain parcels
of land in the City of Lynvrood, and
ti^1HEREAS, due notice was given to destroy such weeda Uy
posting "Notice to Deatroy Sti'eeds'� notices aa required by 1aw, and
?�?�EREAB, at the time and place fixed Por the hearing of pro-
testa and ob�ectiona to eaid matter, a hearing i�rae duly held and no
written or oral ob,Jections were made, eitrier in writing or orally, to
the doing of said work, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the Citp of Lynwood ha.s con-
sidered a11 of the facts and. is full,y informed in the matter; tha.t
they have acquired ,�urisdiction to proceed and perform the �aork of
removal of eaid nuieancea,
NOk�, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Superintendent of
Streeta of the City oP Lynorood be and he is hereby instructed to abate
the nuisances described in said Resolution 2�10. 2479 by havino eaid
nuis�nce referred to removed, and he and hin asaistants are hereby
expressly authorized to enter upon private property f or that purpoae.
B� IT FURTHr.R RE30LVED that any property,00rnera shall have
the right to have any such nuisance removed and abated at his own
expense, provided such work ia done prior to the time the work is done
by the Superintendent of Streeta. If the work is done by the property
_°`owner; norcharge shall be made by the Cit,y of Lynwood..
