The City Covncil of the City nf Lynt�ood doer� hereby
re�olve as follows:
(1) That the oublic interest, convenience, and neceseit,y
require and the Cit,y Council oi the City of Lynwood propoQea to in-
stit'ute �roceedings for the improvement hereinafter set forth,
(2) That the general nature, location, and extent of such
propoaed ir�provement are aa followa;
The construction of cement concrete curbs and guttere, in-
cluding all incidental and annurtenant work in portiona nf Pendleton
Avenue from Colyer Avenue to �lm Avenue.
(3) It is hereby furtner determined tnat the Cit,y Council
of the City oP Lynivood. adopts this resolution under and in accordance
with Divieion 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of Cali-
fornia, which is I:notrn as the �'Special Aaseesment Investigation, Limi-
tation and I�ia,jorit,y Protest Act of 1931, �� as amended. It is hereby
further determined that said City Council proposea to cond.uct the pro-
ceedings for �aid proposed worit or improvement under an Act of the
Legislature of the Sta.te oi' California known and d.esignated as the
"Improvement Act of 1911," as amended.
(�) The boundary or extent of the assesar�ent district to be
asseeaed to pa,y the coets and expenses o£ eaid improvement is shown on
Plan No 1953-s-7 on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City,
which map shall govern for all detaila za to.the extent o£ sa.id assess-
ment diatrict.
(5) That the Cit.y Engineer be and he ia hereb,y authorized
and directed to brepare and deliver to eaid City Council a written re-
port coyering said t•rork or improvement in accordance with the provisiona
