CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2007-12
RESOLUTION ADOPTING A MAP DESIGNATING
TRUCK ROUTES WITHIN THE CITY
WHEREAS, the city council has adopted Ordinance No. 420, an ordinance amending
section 415, et.seq. of the city code regarding the regulation of truck traffic; and
WHEREAS, section 415.09 a) authorizes the city council to designate truck routes within
the city by the adoption and publication of a map depicting the same; and
WHEREAS, the city council has considered the factors specified in section 415.09 b) and
has designated the routes shown in color on the attached map as truck routes; and
WHEREAS, trucks in excess of a licensed gross weight of 35,000 pounds will be
prohibited from all other streets with the city.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the city council of the city of Medina that
the map attached hereto as Exhibit A is adopted. City staff are authorized and directed to cause
such map to be published in the city's official newspaper, to place appropriate signs within the city
denoting the designated truck routes and to take any and all other actions necessary or convenient to
enforce code of ordinances section 415.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Weir and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Smith, Weir, Cavanaugh, Johnson
and the following voted against same: (Absent: Crosby)
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
