in tile Borough solicit quotations fi-om service contractors and prepare request For
quotations, rexicw quotations and prepm-c report to the Borough; and
WIJEREAS, pursmlnt to N.J.S.A. 40A: [ 1-5(1 )(al protbssional services arc exempt h-om
requirements of competifi;e bidding: and
WHEREAS, tile local finance officer has certified tlnat funds are a',ai[able: and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED. tlmt the Mayor and Council of the
Bot'ougln of Carteret docs thereby appro',e the appointment of Killam & Associates at a
maxmaunq cost of not to exceed S2200.00 per attaclnecl contract; and
BI;; IT FURTtlER RESOLVEI) that fine Mabor and Borougln Clerk are thereby
authorized to execute said contract.
IT IS FURTIIER RESOLVED that the contract is ay, arcled without competitive blots
in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:ll-5(1)(a) due to fine specialized and professional
nature of tt~c sc -x cos provided.
