MINUTES OF THE TOWN COMMISSION, MAY 1, 1935
A regular meeting of the Town Conmiasion of the
Town of Gulf Stream, Florida was held on the 1st day of May
A. D. 1035.
Commissioners Adams and Adams were present. Comaissioner
Wallace being out of the Town for the summer.
Miss Adams, Town Treasurer, stated that it would be
necessary for the Town Commission to pass the following resolution as to
the changes of persons authorized to sign checks or such or draw from the
Town's Depository in the Central Farmers' Trust Company and for that reason
she ofBers the following resolution for adoption:
"BE IT RESOLVED that the Central Farmers' Trust Company
of West Palm Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby appointed a
depository of the Town of Gulf Stream, Palm Beach County, Florida,
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all checks, drafts,
certificates of deposit, or other orders for the withdrawal of money
be signed and/or endorsed by any of the following officers:

AND that the Trust Company is authorized to pay to any
officer or director or employee any check, draft or other order for
payment of money signed as above aothorized, without inquiry into or
responsibility for the propriety of such payment. AND that any evidence
of indebtedness of borrowing money, secured or unsecured, from the said
Trust Company be signed and /or endorsed for this corporation by any of
the following officers:

to said Trust Company, and any other instrument under which said Trust
Company may obtain from this corporation any interest as collateral

Bills from the Brennan and Plasterifge Insurance Agency
for the amount of $10.00 for Bond for the Deputy Sheriff for the Town of
Gulf Stream; Halsey and Griffith, Inc. for the amount of $5.50 for a
badge for the Deputy Sheriff and from the Adams 'a ardware for stamps,
notary fees, telephone calls, paper and etc. for the amount of $3.73 were
presented by Town Clerk Adams . A motion was made and carried authorizing
payment of all these bills at once and Town Clerk Adams was authorized to
Pay same.
There being no futher business to come before the
Commission, the meeting was regularly adjourned.
