THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, NOVEMBER 24, 2010
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5:00 P.M.,
Wednesday, November 24, 2010, in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 50 North
5th Street, Richmond, Indiana. In attendance were Board Members Vicki Robinson, Dian
Lawson and Mary Jo Flood. Also attending was Assistant City Attorney Kim Vessels.
The following business was conducted:
CALL TO ORDER
Robinson called the meeting to order and noted for the minutes that all board members and legal
counsel were presented.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Robinson made a request to the board to approve the minutes for the November 18, 2010
meeting. Lawson moved to approve with a second by Flood. The motion was unanimously
passed.
CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT
Robinson made a request to the board to approve the claims for payment for November 19, 2010
in the amount of $382,106.21. She explained of that total $44,503.46 that was paid to WCTV for
3rd quarter Franchise Fees. Flood moved to approve with a second by Lawson. The motion was
unanimously passed. Flood moved to approve the claims for payment for November 24, 2010 in
the amount of $112,478.91 with a second by Lawson. The motion was unanimously passed.
CURB CUTS
A. Robinson made a request to the board for the approval of a curb cut at 1730 South 9th
Street. Lawson moved to approve with a second by Flood. The motion was
unanimously passed.
ADDENDUMS
A. Robinson made a request to the board to approve Addendum No. 1 to Contract No.
127 -2008 with the Hylant Group to provide Employee Consultation Services for the
City of Richmond. Flood moved to approve with a second by Lawson. The motion
was unanimously passed.

B. Robinson made a request to the board to approve Addendum No. 1 to Contract No.
37 -2010 with Elite Clean to provide janitorial services for the Municipal Building.
Lawson moved to approve with a second by Flood. The motion was unanimously
passed.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded and passed unanimously. The
meeting was adjourned.
