MEETING OF APRIL 12, 2017
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Counci l is requested to receive and file t he Transportation and Public Sa fety
Commission (Commission) actions from their regular meeting of April12, 2017 .
BACKGROUND:
On April12 , 2017 , the Commission held their regularly scheduled meeting .
ANALYSIS:
Following is a summary of actions taken at th e April 12, 2017 , meeting :

2 . CONSE NT CALENDAR
The Commissio n approved the minutes of their March 8 , 2017 , meeting .

3 . PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Comm ission held nine hearings in person . Four citations were uphe ld and five
citations were dism isse d .
The Commission held four hearings by written declaration . Two citations were
upheld and two citations were dismissed .
CITY STRATEGIC GOALS:
Reporting the Transportation and Public Safety Commission Actions furthers the City 's
Strategic Goal of Citizen Education and Commun ic ation .
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year 2016-17 City Budget.
