CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2007-40
RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL FOR
WETTERSTROM ADDITION
WHEREAS, Derek Wetterstrom (the "Applicant") has applied to the city of
Medina (the "City") to plat certain property located at 1495 Medina Road (the "Subject
Property"), which is legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the preliminary plat was approved by the city council on December
5, 2000 subject to certain terms and conditions; and
WHEREAS, the Applicant has provided a final plat consistent with those terms
and conditions; and
WHEREAS, the city council on August 7, 2007 reviewed the final plat for its
conformance with the City's ordinances and the terms and conditions of preliminary
approval, considered the recommendations of staff and heard comments from the
Applicant and other interested parties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota that final approval be granted for the plat of Wetterstrom Addition, subject to
the following terms and conditions:
1. A final plat is approved to allow the creation of one lot, in accordance with the plans
received by the City on July 18, 2007, except as amended by the city council.
2. Future development and/or construction shall comply with relevant statutes and
ordinances and permitting requirements.
3. The Applicant shall comply with the requirements regarding title to the Subject
Property as stated in the city attorney's plat opinion of May 9, 2007, and in
supplements thereto.
4. The Applicant must pay the city an administrative fee in an amount necessary to
reimburse the city for the cost of reviewing this application.

5. The Applicant must file the plat with Hennepin County within 60 days of the date of
this resolution or the approval hereby granted shall be null and void.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Cavanaugh upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Crosby, Weir, Cavanaugh, Johnson
And the following voted against same: (Absent: Smith)
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

Parcel 2: That part of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of
Section 14, Township 118, Range 23, lying East of the West 583 feet
thereof and Southerly of the centerline of Medina Township Road No. 48.
Parcel 3: That part of the West 214.5 feet (W214.5') of the Southeast
Quarter (SE %) of the Southwest Quarter (SW '/), Section Fourteen (14),
Township One Hundred Eighteen (118), Range Twenty -Three (23), lying
North of the South 310 feet (S310') and Southerly of Medina Road,
according to the United States Government Survey thereof and situate in
Hennepin County, Minnesota. (the "Property").
