HomeMy Public PortalAbout12/04/1935TOWN OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA MINUTES OF THE TCBJN COMMISION, DECEMBER, 4, 1935 A regular meeting of the Town Commission of the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida was held on the 4th day of December A. D. 1935. Commissioners Wallace, Adams and Adams were present. The minutes of the prevoius meeting were read and approved. A motion was put before the Commission to have the Town Streets cleaned the same as they were the year before. To hire one laborer to be paid $2.25 per day to clean the streets raking the needles into piles to be carried away, and to hire one truck with driver, the driver to be paid by the day at $2.25 per day and the truck for $15.00. Laborers and truck to be paid by Town Clerk Adams on completion of job. Town Clerk Adams was instucted to keep time of the days worked by the laborers on the street cleaning. The motion was seconded and passed to do this work and to begin same at once. Commissioner Wallace brought to the attention bf the Town Commission that the two Town signs that are placed at each end of the Town were blown away during the hurricane in November and should be replaced immediately. He also stated that he was having two new signs made sad they would be put up as soon as they were finished. There being no further busihess to come before the Commission, the meeting was regularly adjourned. 4 Mayor TTown Clerk
