SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
MAY 2, 2017
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Sternquist called the City Council Special Meeting to order at 6:46 p.m. in the
Council Chambers located at 5938 Kauffman Avenue, Temple City.
2. ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Councilmember — Chavez, Fish, Yu, Man, Sternquist
ABSENT: Councilmember — None
ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Vail and City Clerk Kuo
3. PUBLIC COMMENTS — None
4. CLOSED SESSION
A. Purpose: Pending Litigation
Potential Cases: One (1)
Authority: Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(4) — City
Council Deciding Whether to Initiate Litigation
Representatives: City Attorney
City Council recessed to closed session at 6:47 p.m. and reconvened at 7:40
p.m. with all members present.
City Attorney Vail announced that Closed Session will continue after the
Regular City Council meeting adjourns
City Council recessed to Closed Session at 9:35 p.m. and reconvened at
10:09 p.m. with all members present.
City Attorney Vail reported that City Council met in Closed Session and gave
direction to City Attorney. There is no other reportable action.

The City Council Special Meeting was adjourned at 10:09 p.m.
