Mayor Pro Tem William Man called the Special Meeting to order at 7:03 a.m.
2. ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Councilmember— Chavez, Fish, Man
ABSENT: Councilmember — Yu, Sternquist
ALSO PRESENT: City Manager Cook, Community Development Director
Forbes, Public Safety Supervisor Ariizumi, and Senior
Community Preservation Officer Tran
Captain Flores, Sergeant Miranda, Deputy Adams, Deputy
Lam, Deputy Zuniga, Deputy Cadiz, and Deputy Garcia
Councilmember Fish made a motion to excuse Mayor
Sternquist and Councilmember Yu for cause. Seconded by
Councilmember Chavez.
3. PUBLIC COMMENTS
Jerry Jambazian, Temple City resident, inquired on the procedures the Sheriffs have
in place for releasing information to the public regarding crime reports.

5. NEW BUSINESS
A. OVERVIEW OF LASD AERO BUREAU
Deputy Cadiz and Deputy Garcia gave an overview of LASD Aero Bureau.
6. COMMUNICATIONS
A. QUALITY OF LIFE
Deputy Lam provided a brief overview of the number of sex offender
registrants, parolees, and probationers in the City.
B. OPERATIONS
Deputy Lam provided an update regarding arrests and operations in the City.

Deputy Lam provided an update on the special assignment team activities.

Deputy Lam reported on the public outreach conducted by the special
assignment team.

Deputy Lam announced upcoming meetings and events that will be
conducted in the City.
