SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
MAY 16, 2017
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Sternquist called the City Council Special Meeting to order at 6:16 p.m. in the
Live Oak Park Live Oak Room 1,11, III, located at 10144 Bogue Street, Temple City.
2. ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Councilmember — Chavez, Fish, Yu (arrived at 6:20 p.m.),
Man, Sternquist
ABSENT: Councilmember— None
ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Vail, Assistant City Attorney Murphy,
Community Development Director Forbes, and City Clerk

City Council recessed to closed session at 6:16 p.m. and reconvened at 7:34
p.m. with all members present.

City Attorney Vail reported that City Council met in Closed Session and only '
discussed regarding Closed Session Item A, Pending Litigation, and gave
direction to City Attorney. Closed Session Item B (Employee Performance
Evaluation of City Attorney) and Closed Session Item C (Conference with
Labor Negotiator) discussion will be continued after the Regular City Council
meeting at 7:30 p.m. adjourns. There is no other reportable action.
Regular City Council meeting adjourned at 11:30 p.m. Discussion for Closed
Session Item B (Employee Performance Evaluation of City Attorney) and
Closed Session Item C (Conference with Labor Negotiator) will be continued
to the next City Council meeting date on June 6.
5. ADJOURNMENT
The City Council Special Meeting was continued to June 6, 2017.
