CALL TO ORDER Mayor Sternquist called the City Council Special Meeting to order at 6:21 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 5938 Kauffman Avenue, Temple City. 2. ROLL CALL PRESENT: Councilmember— Chavez, Fish, Yu, Man, Sternquist ABSENT: Councilmember — None ALSO PRESENT: City Manager Cook, City Attorney Vail, Assistant City Attorney Murphy, and City Clerk Kuo 3. PUBLIC COMMENTS — None 4. CLOSED SESSION A. Purpose: Employee Performance Evaluation Title: City Attorney Authority: Governmental Code Section 54957 Representatives: City Council B. Purpose: Anticipated Litigation Potential Case: One Authority: Government Code Section 54956.9(d)(4) — City Council Deciding Whether to Initiate Litigation Representatives: City Attorney City Council recessed to closed session at 6:21 p.m. and reconvened at 6:50 p.m. with all members present. City Attorney Vail reported that City Council met in Closed Session and received a briefing on both items. Assistant City Attorney Murphy received directions from City Council regarding Closed Session Item 4B "Anticipated Litigation" and will report out on this item during the Regular City Council meeting City Attorney Update. City Attorney Vail reported that Mayor Sternquist established a City Attorney Evaluation Ad Hoc Committee, appointing Mayor Pro Tem Man and herself to the committee, to continue the discussion. City Council has authorized the City Attorney to draft a report to give to the Council Ad Hoc Committee. This item will appear periodically on the Closed session agenda until evaluation is concluded.
