CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.2007-49
A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING VOLUNTEERS
AND CONTRIBUTORS TO MEDINA CELEBRATION DAY
WHEREAS, the City relies on local business support and donations to not only conduct the
fireworks display, but also to be able to add other activities of interest, making Medina Celebration Day fun
for all ages; and
WHEREAS, the volunteers and committee members worked hard to plan, raise funds, advertise,
setup, and final cleanup, which made for a very successful event;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina that the
Council expresses its deep gratitude and appreciation to all the individuals and businesses for their service
and contributions toward Medina Celebration Day.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Weir and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Crosby, Smith, Weir, Cavanaugh, Johnson
and the following voted against same:
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
