I, Kim C. Drake, being duly sworn and say, I am the receptionist of
The Star -News, a weekly newspaper published at McCall, in the County of Val-
ley, State of Idaho; that said newspaper is in general circulation in the county
of afore said and is a legal newspaper; that the PUBLIC NOTICE, a copy of
which is enclosed hereto and is a part hereof, was published in said newspaper
once a week for a period of one week in the regular and entire issue of every
number there of during the period of time of publication, and was published in
the newspaper proper and not in a supplement; and that publication of such
notice began December 11 , 2014 and ended December 11, 2014.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
MCCALL, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION
OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, AMENDING
MCCALL CITY CODE 2.1.070 ADOPTING
THE 2012 EDITIONS OF THE INTERNA-
TIONAL RESIDENTIAL CODE, INTER-
NATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION
CODE, INTERNATIONAL MECHANICAL
CODE, IDAHO STATE PLUMBING CODE
AND THE INTERNATIONAL FUEL GAS
CODE AND ADOPTING THE 2014 EDI-
TION OF THE NATIONAL ELECTRI-
CAL CODE, ALL AS ADOPTED BY THE
STATE OF IDAHO OR ANY OF THE
BUILDING SAFETY BOARDS OF THE
STATE OF IDAHO, TOGETHER WITH
ANY AMENDMENTS OR REVISIONS
MADE BY ANY OF THE BUILDING
SAFETY BOARDS OF THE STATE OF
IDAHO THROUGH THE NEGOTIATED
RULEMAKING PROCESS; DELETING
THE SUBSECTION PERTAINING TO THE
INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE; PROVID-
ING SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING RE-
PEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
OF JANUARY 1, 2015.
WHEREAS, Idaho Code 39-4116 autho-
rizes cities to adopt certain uniform building
codes; and WHEREAS, the City of McCall
desires to update its applicable uniform build-
ing codes to match current state law in order
to provide for uniformity and consistency
of building code requirements which must
be met by owners and contractors. NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MCCALL, IDAHO, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: McCall City Code 2.1.070 is
amended as follows:
(A) International Building Code: The
international building code, 2012 edition,
prepared by the International Code Council,
Inc., as adopted by the state of Idaho or the
Idaho Building Code Board, together with
any amendments or revisions to the inter-
national building code made by the Idaho
Building Code Board through the negotiated
rulemaking process, is adopted.

B. International Residential Code: The
2012 International Residential Code (IRC)
including Appendices A, B, C, and D, Me-
chanical Parts V & VI and Appendices, pre-
pared by the International Code Council.
Inc.. as adopted by the Idaho Building Code
Board, together with any amendments or
revisions made by the Idaho Building Code
Board through the negotiated rulemaking
process, is adopted.

C. International Energy Conservation
Code: The 2012 International Energy Con-
servation Code (IECC). prepared by the In-
ternational Code Council, Inc., together with
any amendments or revisions made by the
Idaho Building Code Board through the ne
gotiated rulemaking process, is adopted.
(D) Uniform Code For Abatement Of
Dangerous Buildings: The uniform code for
abatement of dangerous buildings, 1991 edi-
tion, published by the International Confer-
ence Of Building Officials.

E. International Mechanical Code: The
2012 International Mechanical Code (IMQ
including Appendix A, prepared by the In-
ternational Code Council, Inc., together with
any amendments or revisions made by the
Idaho Heating, Ventilation, and Air Condi-
tioning Board through the negotiated rule -
making process is adopted.
(F) International Fire Codes. Thy int,.na-

(G) Life Safety Code: The life safety
code, National Fire Protection Association
code number 101-2000, published by the Na-
tional Fire Protection Association.
(H) National Fire Protection Code: Na-

NFPA 501-A-2000: Manufactured home
installations
NFPA 58-2001: Storage and handling of
liquefied petroleum gases liquefied gas code
NFPA 59-2001: Storage and handling of
liquefied petroleum gases at utility gas plants

I. National Electrical Code: The 2014
National Electrical Code (NEC), prepared
by the National Fire Protection Association
together with any amendments or revisions
made by the Idaho Electrical Board through
the negotiated rulemaking process. is ad-
(J) Uniform Code For Building Conser-
vation: The uniform code for building con-
servation, 1994 edition, chapters 1, 2, 3, 4,
5, 6, and 7, without appendices, published by
the International Conference Of Building Of-
ficials, as more fully provided in chapter 4 of
this title respecting historic buildings.
(K) Idaho Manufactured Home Installa-
tion Standards: Idaho manufactured home
installation standard.
L. Idaho State Plumbing Code: The
2012 Idaho State Plumbing Code (ISPC)
including Appendices A, B, D, E, I, and L.
(modeled after the 2009 Uniform Plumbing
Code) together with any amendments or re-
visions made by the Idaho Plumbing Board
through the negotiated rulemaking process
is adopted.
M. International Fuel Gas Code: The
2012 International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) in-
cluding Appendices A, B, C, and D, prepared
by the International Code Council, Inc., to-
gether with any amendments or revisions
made by the Idaho Heating, Ventilation, and
Air Conditioning Board through the negoti-
ated rulemaking process. is adopted.
Section 2: Severability.
The ordinance is hereby declared to be
severable. Should any portion of this ordi-
nance be declared invalid by a court of com-
petent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions
shall continue in full force and effect and
shall be read to carry out the purpose(s) of
the ordinance before the declaration of partial
invalidity.
Section 3: Repeal of Conflicting Provi-
sions.
All other provisions of the current Mc-
Call City Code or ordinances of the City of
McCall which conflict with the provisions of
this ordinance are hereby repealed to the ex-
tent of such conflict.
Section 4: Effective Date.
This ordinance shall be effective January
1, 2015, upon passage and publication as pro-
vided by law.
