I, Kim C. Drake, being duly sworn and say, I am the receptionist of
The Star -News, a weekly newspaper published at McCall, in the County of Val-
ley, State of Idaho; that said newspaper is in general circulation in the county
of afore said and is a legal newspaper; that the PUBLIC NOTICE, a copy of
which is enclosed hereto and is a part hereof, was published in said newspaper
once a week for a period of one week in the regular and entire issue of every
number there of during the period of time of publication, and was published in
the newspaper proper and not in a supplement; and that publication of such
notice began August 6, 2015 and ended August 6, 2015.

ORDINANCE NO.935
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF Mc -
CALL, VALLEY COUNTY, IDAHO, REPEAL-
ING MCCALL CITY CODE § 1.6.1 AND PRO-
VIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS,
the 2015 regular session of the Idaho Legislature
enacted House Bill 216 (Session Law Chapter
285) which was signed by the Governor on April
6, 2015, and which became effective July 1, 2015;
and WHEREAS, the effect of said bill was the
repeal of Idaho Code 50-501 and the preemption
of all city ordinances regarding initiatives and
referenda related to municipal ordinances and
codes; and WHEREAS, additions to Chapter 18,
Title 34, Idaho Code now govern city initiatives
and referenda such that McCall City Code § 1.6.1
is no longer necessary. NOW, THEREFORE, BE
IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McCALL, IDAHO
THAT:
SECTION 1: Enactment. McCall City Code
§ 1.6.1 INITIATIVE AND REFERENDUM is
hereby repealed in its entirety.
SECTION 2: Effective Date. This ordinance
shall be published once in the official newspaper
of the City, and shall take effect upon its passage,
approval, and publication.
