A regular meeting of the Town Commission of the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida was held on March 3rd,1937. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The inspector and the two clerks who served as an election board for the general election held on March 2nd,1937, filed their report with Town Commission which was as follows, Number of persons registered Number of persons voting 13 12 Number of votes cast for James N. Wallace for —ayor 12 Number of votes cast for Harry E. Adams for vice " 12 Number of votes cast for Wm.J.Bauer for Town Clerk 12 We the Commission of the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, acting as a Board of canvassers for the purpose of examing the returns of the election field in the Town of Gulf Stream,i"lorida,March 2nd,1937, do hereby certify that an examination of the certi- ficate oz the clerks and one inspector of the general munici,Dal election held Ivarch 2nd,1937, shows the above results. We further certify that from the above returns the following persons have been elected to the offices respectively shown opp- osite their names. A motion was made and carried, accepting the above report and declaring the results of the election to be as follows. James N. Wallace elected to the office of h.ayor. Harry E. Adams elected to the office of Vice- AMagtor. Wm. J. Bauer elected to the office of Town Clerk. Harry E. Adams adminir.tered the oath of office to James N. Wallace who administered same to H.E.Adams and Wm.J.Bauer. IIiss Dorothy Adams turned over the books, papers,tax rolls etc of the Town of Gulf Stream to V1m.J. Bauer.
