CITY OF LYNWOOD
REGULAR MEETING OF THE PERSONNEL BOARD
' DECEMBER 16, 2010
The regular meeting of the of the Personnel Board of the City of Lynwood was
held on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of
' City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, Lynwood, California. The agenda was duly posted
as prescribed by the Brown Act.
CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 5:04 p.m. by Chairperson Bradley. Roll call
was taken by Alfredo J Lopez, Human Resources Director.
Commissioner Attendance:
Present—Bradley, Robinson, Esparza, Espinoza, Perez
Staff Attendance:
Present — Alfredo J Lopez, HR Director, Yolanda Delgadillo, Personnel Analyst

Led by Commissioner Espinoza. ,
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The motion was made by Vice-Chairperson Robinson and seconded by �
Commissioner Espinoza to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of �
November 11, 2010. All in favor. Motion carried.

• STUDIES AND REPORTS i
Mc Lopez provided the Board with an overview of the recruitment process for the I
position of Maintenance Worker and advised the Board that an eligibility list will be �
coming forward for review and approval at the February meeting. Chairperson i
Bradley inquired as to how many vacant positions are available. Mr. Lopez I
responded that there are three vacancies, and there is currently a hiring freeze �
which may be lifted on a case-by-case basis. In addition, Mr. Lopez said we are i
establishing an eligibility list for this position at this time. All in favor. Motion carried.
Mr. Lopez then informed the Board that the Human Resources Department is �
currently reviewing all the classifications to determine the positions that generate `
revenues and will begin establishing a current eligibility list for such positions. ;

COMMISSIONER & STAFF ORALS
Chairperson Bradley extended a grateful thank you to the Board members for their
commitment, hard work and dedication to the Board. She also wished everyone a
prosperous New Year.
ITEMS TO BE AGENDIZED - None
CLOSED SESSION
The Board went into closed session at 5:13 p.m. and came out of closed session at
5:25 p.m. The motion was made by Commissioner Espinoza and seconded by
Vice-Chairperson Robinson to approve the Eligibility List for the position of Civic
Auditorium Administrator. All in favor.
ADJOURNMENT
Vice-Chairperson Robinson made the motion to adjourn and Commissioner
Espinoza seconded. The meeting adjourned at 526 pm. All in favor. Motion
carried.
