I;.INUTLS OF THE TOWN COMMISSION, APRIL 8,1937.
A regular meeting of the Town Con mission of the Town of Gulf
Stream, Florida, was held on on the 8th day of April, 1937.
Commissioners, Wallace, Adams & Bauer were present.
The L7inutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Checks were drawn and approved for the following:
Halsey & Griffith, Deputy Sheriff Badge $5.50
B.D. "Cole Inc. Bond for " " 10.00
C.Y. Byrd, Legal Services 10.00
Delray Beach News, printing letterheads 2.75
Town Clerk Hauer reported all taxes for 1936 paid, excepting
:,xs. H. F. Whitney.
Town Clerk Bauer reported that after the allove withdrawals
the Balance in the Bank was p852.11
A letter from Bassett W. Mitchell was presented, requesting
that certain property North and adjacent to the Torn of Gulf
Stream, be taken into the Town of Gulf Strew. It was the opin-
ion of the Commission and of many property holders, that it
would be unwise and of no advantage in taking in the property
referred to. The Town Clerk was requested to write B. W. Mitchell
to this affect.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
