Adjoining and affected property owners and affected entities shall be notified of this change. Section 3. Upon the passage and approval of this ordinance, the City Clerk shall fife a certified copy thereof with the Recorder of Deeds of Cole County, Missouri. Section 4 Upon the passage and approval of this ordinance,the Director of the Department of Community Development shall cause signs to be erected in appropriate locations bearing the approved name. Section This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of Its passage and approval. The proposed street name change must be advertised for a period of several weeks in the local newspaper, and so the bill will be placed on the Council's"Informal Calendar"during this period. At the conclusion of this period the City Council will conduct a public hearing on the proposed street name change, then vote on whether to adopt the proposed name of "Nestle Down Drive." The City Council is scheduled to hold the public hearing on Monday, November 20, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber of the John G. Christy Municipal Building, 320 East McCarty Street. •If adopted, the City will provide official notification of the street name change to government, utility and emergency services agencies advising them of the change so that they may modify their maps, and the City's Street Division will erect new street signs.
