A special meeting of the Town Co mission of the Town
of Gulf Strea.., Florida was held on the 16th day of February,
A.D. 1940.
Commissioners Wallace and Bauer were oresent.
This meeting was called to discuss plans for the coming
General Election to be held in the Town on March 5th,1940.
A petition was drawn putting the names of James N. Wallace
a:; Mayor, harry F. Edwards as Vice -Mayor and Wm. J. Bauer as
Town Clerk. A moiton was made and seconded to accent this ce-
tition.Town Cic.rk Bauer presented a sample of the official
ballot to be used in the coming election. A motion was made
and seconded to accept this sample ballot. The Commission
appointed two clerks Mrs. W.J.Bauer and Mrs. Dick Johnson and
one inspector Town Clerk Bauer to preside at the election.
There being no further business to come before the Comm-
ission the meeting was regularly adjourned.
