JULY 18, 2017
1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Stemquist called the City Council Special Meeting to order at 7:19 p.m. in the Council
Chambers located at 5938 Kauffman Avenue, Temple City.
2. ROLL CALL
PRESENT: Councilmember-Chavez, Fish, Yu, Man, Sternquist
ABSENT: Councilmember - None
ALSO PRESENTCity Manager Cook, City Attorney Vail, City Clerk Kuo
3. PUBLIC COMMENTS - None
4. CLOSED SESSION
Purpose: Existing litigation
Title: Gardena v Regional Water Quality Board (City as Real Party in
Interest); Orange County Superior Court Case No. 30-2016-
00833722-CU-WM-CJC
Authority: Gov't Code 54956.9(d)(1)
' Representatives: City Attorney; City Manager
City Council recessed to closed session at 7:19 p.m. and reconvened at 7:35 p.m. with all members
present.
City Attorney Vail reported that City Council met in Closed Session and received a briefing from the
City Attorney. City Council gave directions to the City Attorney. There is no other reportable action.
5. ADJOURNMENT
The City Council Special Meeting was adjourned at 7:36 p.m.
