PIIOFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING
SERVICES
WIIEREAS, there exists a need for Pro£essJonal Services for the Design
Coordination with the Borough Engineer and tile Borough and including thc
preparation o£ technical specifications, shop drawing review, inspection services
related to the removal of the oil burner and rcplacenaent with gas burning heating
unit at Police Headquarters.
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:ll-5(l)(a) Professional
from the requirements of competitive bidding; and Services are exempt
~,~' HEREAS, tile Local Finance Ofi'iccr has cealificd that funds are available;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret does hereby approve the appointmen! of J.C. Morris
Associates at a maximum cost of not to exceed $9350.00 billable per attached
contract.
