Iiinutes of the Town Commission, March 19th,1941.
The regular meeting of the Town Commission scheduled for
I-arch 5th was adjourned until Larch 12th and then again
adjournded until to -day, due to sictness of the Commissioners.
Commissioners, Wallace, Edwards and Bauer were present.
The minutes of the previous -- eeting held on February 12th,
were read and ap roved.
The Commissioners a')proved the payment of the following bills:
Erskine Parks $2.50 altering Policemans trousers.
Gulf Stream Golf Club, 432.34 Gasoline for Police Car
B.D.Cole,Inc, 410.00, Bond for R.W.Cooper a., Denuty Sheriff.
There was brought to the attention of the meeting a request
iron_ the Southern Bell Telephone mom -)any for a franchise for
the Town. Upon discussion it was decided to consult other
Towns, to find out their experiences with the Telephone Company
and thus incorporate some o- their suggestions into the
franchise requested by the Telephone Company.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
