Minutes of Emergency Meeting of the Town Commission,
January 11,1942.
This meeting was called for the express purpose of passing
an emergency ordinance, providing for the safety and general
welfare of citizens and residents of the Town of Gulf Stream,
and the iroperty within said town; authorizing blackouts, and
orders, rules and regulations pertaining thereto, prescribing
penalties for the violation thereof, and for other purpose.
Commissioners, Wallace, Edwards and Sauer were present at
this meeting held at thr residence of the Mayor at 11 a.m.
on January 11,1942.
As a test blackout was ordered by the Government of the
United States for the night of January llth,1942, it was deemed
necessary that the Commissioners pass an emergency ordinate
in reference to the blackout as described in the first part of
the minutes. Commissioners Wallace, Edwards and Bauer ap)roved
passing this emergency ordinance_
There being no further business the meeting ddjourned.
