AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON,MISSOURI, RELINQUISHING A CERTAIN
EASEMENT LOCATED BEHIND 3215 MISSOURI BOULEVARD FOR SANITARY SEWER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council finds that the following described easement is surplus property
of the City and is no longer needed for any public purpose:
A 10 foot wide strip of land across part of the Southwest Quarter of the
Northwest Quarter of Section 10, Township 44 North, Range 12 West, in the
City of Jefferson, Cole County, Missouri, said 10 foot wide strip of land lies
5 feet each side of and adjacent to the following described centerline:
Beginning at the Southwest Corner of the Southwest Quarter of the
Northwest Quarter of said Section 10, Township 44 North, Range 12 West;
thence N84 030'58"E along the.Quarter Section Line, 629.09 feet; thence
N19 010'47"W, 213.72 feet; thence N26 046'03"E, 177.40 feet; thence
N55°16'13"E, 6.27 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING for this centerline
description; thence continuing N55 016'13"E, 190.48 feet; thence
N86 005'43"E, 241.97 feet; thence N39 050'33"E, 56.83 feet; thence
N43 015'35"W, 99.05 feet to the POINT OF TERMINATION.
Section 2. The easement described in Section 1 is hereby relinquished,and the City
does hereby release and abandon whatever interest it has in the easement.
Section 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute any necessary
legal document relinquishing all of the City's interest in the tract of ground described in
Section 1.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its passage and approval.
