The Wellsburg Town Council met in regular session on May 1,
1972, with Mayor Eckhoff presiding and Councilmen
Hippen, Van
Deest, Fairbanks, and Heinrich in attendance.
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved on
a motion by
Van Deest, seconded by Fairbanks. Carried.
The treasurer's report was accepted as read on
a motion by
Fairbanks, seconded by Heinrich. Carried.
On a motion by Hippen, seconded by Fairbanks, the
following
bills were allowed for payment:

was moved that
Rick Penning be hired for part time special deputy
police duty at
a rate of $2.00 per hour. Carried.
Moved by Fairbanks, seconded by Van Deest for adjournment.
